About Laurie Mills

For over 25 years Laurie has been sharing her expertise by guiding people through personal transition and organizational change.

Her consulting practice – Lighthouse – was started in 2006 built on her belief that employees will contribute more to an organization’s success when they are thriving in a respectful work environment.

Workplace assessments, training and individual coaching and complaint investigations are important tools that Laurie deploys to help organizations develop work cultures that go beyond the absence of bullying and harassment, to being respectful and highly productive.

Laurie has worked for CP Rail and UBC Okanagan as an internal organizational development consultant. She has also been a part-time faculty member at the BC Institute of Technology (BCIT) since 2003, currently teaching a course on Leadership and Change. Her Lighthouse clients include private businesses, municipalities, and post-secondary institutions throughout BC, as well as not-for-profit organizations in the Okanagan.
